HTD LIMITED DONATES A VEHICLE TO FIRST LADY’s BEAM TRUST

The country’s motor company, HTD’s Abdul Majid Motor City has donated a KIA four tonner vehicle to the Gertrude Mutharika Beautify Malawi (BEAM) Trust.

The company made the donation on Friday during the official signing of agreement of partnership between the trust and the company held at HTD’s new Abdul Majid Motor City complex at Ginnery Corner in Blantyre.

The partnership agreement will see the car dealer working with BEAM in its efforts to restore the beauty of the country’s cities and towns.

Madam Mutharika who is also the founder and Chairperson of BEAM, signed the partnership.

In her speech after receiving the donation, Madam Mutharika hailed HTD for making a commitment to work with her organization in making Malawi’s cities, towns and villages clean, safer and healthier.

The function was graced by the Blantyre City Mayor Noel Chalamanda.
