Death has been announced of a Malawi’s Veteran broadcaster Charles Ndau of John Ndau Village, Traditional Authority (TA)Chamakala in Kasungu.

Ndau, a former Channel Africa employee died on Tuesday in Johannesburg South Africa at the age of 78.

Information sourced by FaceofMalawi indicates that Ndau will be laid to rest on Saturday, 7th February, 2015 in South Africa.

Ndau once worked for the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) and he later left for South Africa where he joined SABC (Channel Africa).

Before joining MBC late Ndau used to run a teen-time show at Lilongwe Community Hall and it was during the same period that he was a member of a Lilongwe-based concert group known as Zig Zag Zex featuring Solomon Mkwapatira, Charles Ndau, Neddie Phiri, and the Manda brothers( Ronald and Edward).
