NOW IT’S OFFICIAL: MALAWI SAVINGS BANK AND INDEBANK SOLD AT MK9.5 BILLION

It’s now a done deal. The Malawi government has finally sold the state owned Malawi Savings Bank and Indebank at MK9.5 billion

According to the source who confided to FaceofMalawi, the signing process is currently underway at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development offices at capital hill in Lilongwe.

The source said the bank is being sold to National Bank.

More details to come as our reporter is running up and down in search for information.
