BUFFALO INJURES TWO PEOPLE IN DOWA

Two people are battling for their lives in Dowa District Hospital after being attacked by a Buffalo in the district on Saturday.
Dowa Police Public Relations Officer Richard Kaponda confirmed of the development in an interview with one of the privately owned radio (Zodiak Broadcasting Station), saying the buffalo has since been killed.
Kaponda said the buffalo is believed to have escaped from Thuma forest in Salima.
The victims hail from Chavu village in the area of Traditional Authority Msakambewa.
