Former Presidential Advisor to the late Professor Bingu wa Mutharika and Mulanje CCAP Church moderator Billy Gama is battling for his life at Mwaiwathu Private Hospital in the commercial capital Blantyre.
Gama who is also Chairperson of Lilongwe Water Board was involved in road accident on Wednesday around Mikolongwe/Malowa area, along the Robert Mugabe Highway in Chiradzulu district.
Confirming the development, Leston Mulli said Reverend Gama sustained head injuries and internal bleeding.
Gama, who is also the Chaplain of Mulli Brothers Limited is said to have coming from a funeral.
Meanwhile Police are yet to establish the cause of the accident.
