The country’s Vice President Saulos Chilima left the country on Tuesday for United Kingdom to defend his doctoral thesis at the University of Bolton.
Chilima left the country through Kamuzu International Airport in the capital Lilongwe at around 13:30 pm.
According to the statement made available to FaceofMalawi, Chilima has been studying for a Doctor of Philosophy PhD Degree in Knowledge Management with the University of Bolton, through the Malawi Institute of Management (MIM), since 2011.
Writing on his official facebook page, President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has hailed Chilima and wished him well as defends his doctoral thesis.
