THUGS SHOT DEAD A BUSINESSMAN IN MCHINJI

Sulamoyo Salimu who was popularly known as Muna1 was shot dead by armed robbers who broke into his house.

According to Izex Chimala of Mikundi trading centre, the robbers went to Salimu around 11pm and demanded cash but the deceased resisted to release any money prompting the thugs to shot him dead.

Chimala bemoaned that there is no police unit in the area and robbers are taking advantage

The nearest police is about 50 Kilometres at Kapiri or Kamwendo Police unit.

Mchinji police public relations officer sub Inspector Moses Kajawa Nyirenda confirmed about the robbery attack, saying they have launched investigation.

Nyirenda also said robbers who have killed Sulamoyo went away with K320, 000.00.
