Domestic violence and abuse are used for one purpose and one purpose only: to gain and maintain total control over you. An abuser doesn’t “play fair.” Abusers use fear, guilt, shame, and intimidation to wear you down and keep you under his or her thumb. Your abuser may also threaten you, hurt you, or hurt those around you.
It is sad the despite many groups and people raising awareness, domestic violence continues to happen. In China, this woman didn’t escape from it either. Just because she wasn’t able to answer her husband’s call, he decided to bite her nose off—and swallow it!
The victim, Yang, explained that she wasn’t able to answer her husband’s calls since she was so tired from her late shift at work. Infuriated, the husband angrily rushed to the woman’s office and started a heated argument with her.
“And the next thing I knew, he pushed my head towards the way and ate my nose on the go,”Yang told Shangdong TV.
Doctors say it would take at least three months to reconstruct Yang’s nose. Since the attack, Yang’s husband has been missing. Police are still looking into the incident.
