Information reaching FaceofMalawi indicates that a certain nurse (name withheld) is under investigations in Kasungu for allegedly taking pictures of a woman while giving birth.
The incident happened on Sunday at M’nyanja Health Centre where the accused is working as a midwifery Technician.
According to information at hand, after taking the pictures the nurse went to a nearby trading centre where he was showing people the pictures.
Eyewitness told FOM’s reporter that the accused was drunk when he was helping the woman to deliver and he used his mobile phone to take pictures.
The eyewitness further said the victim spent the whole day on Monday after hearing the news.
Kasungu District Health Officer confirmed receiving the complaints from pregnant woman from the health centre.
