These Sisters Used Their Selfies And Social Media To ‘Rinse’ Men Of £75,000 Of Gifts

Three sisters have found a pretty novel way to earn boatloads of cash and fund a flash lifestyle – whenever they post a sexy selfie online, they’re lavished with expensive gifts from men they’ve never even met.

Lucy Brooks, 28, and her sisters Sophie, 26, and Stacie, 25, have thousands of doting admirers on social media and their pouting photos have already earned them upwards of £75,000 in gifts, including designer shoes and handbags, laptops, iPads, and a shit load of flowers.

The Sunday Mirror have reported on the girls’ money making scheme – apparently, it’s all part of the so-called “rinsing” craze, where men lavish expensive gifts on women they’ve never met before and expect nothing in return.

Nice work, if you can get it.

With the exception of the occasional flirty phone call, the girls don’t have any contact with the men and, in their opinion, they’re doing nothing wrong.

Lucy said:

It’s not seedy. It’s hardly like we’re selling our bodies. We’re doing many of these men a favour. They love our pictures and tell us how fun we look. We brighten up their day, in an innocent way. We’d never meet or do anything sexual. We’re not like that. My boyfriend doesn’t have a problem with it. He thinks it’s funny, if anything. Although he’s stuck on what to get for Christmas as I already have so much.

These men are harmless. Lots have things missing in their lives. Maybe they’re lonely or lack confidence. They don’t have a glamorous girl to treat at home, so they get a kick out of buying for us. It’s sweet.

It’s not all been smooth sailing – the occasional admirer has pushed things too far, with one guy inundating the girls with messages, before threatening to visit the salon, which forced the girls to get a restraining order.

Of course, not everyone agrees with the sisters’ sideline of work (they also run a hair and beauty salon in St Albans, Hertfordshire), with some likening their actions to a modern form of escorting, claiming it’s sexualising young women and allowing them to trade on their looks.

However, many more will commend the sisters on their business sense. After all, if you can get tens of thousands of pounds worth of presents just for taking a few lingerie photos, why wouldn’t you?

Lucy added:

We know how lucky we are. What girl doesn’t love to be spoiled? Some people might criticise us, but if someone sent them a beautiful new pair of shoes, would they return them? I doubt it. If men want to treat us, who are we to argue?
