CHISOMBEZI PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER ARRESTED FOR DEFILING THREE CHILDREN

Police in Blantyre have arrested a teacher at Chisombezi Primary school in Bangwe for allegedly defiling three standard 8 students.

Limbe Police spokesperson confirmed of the development in an interview with the press and identified the suspect as Harry Thokozani.

According to the police, the suspect defiled the three girls in separate occasion and the issue came to light on November 19 2015 when one of the girls revealed the act to her friends.

“One of the girls revealed to her friends not knowing that her friends were going through the same things.

“The girls ganged up and reported to the head teacher who took them to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital(QECH), but they were never given the results. This prompted the parents to report the matter at Bangwe police,” said Limbe Police spokesperson.

The suspect admitted to have defiled the three girls when pressed by the Police.

One of the girls (name withheld) told the Police that she was defiled 6 times and the suspect used condom thrice.

The suspect is currently at Bangwe Police.

Thokozani comes from Chapita village,T/A Masasa in Ntcheu.
