Fire has gutted down Mzuzu University (Mzuni) Library destroying books and computers worth millions early this morning.
Mzuni Vice Chancellor Dr. Robert Ridley confirmed of the development in an interview with the press, saying the situation is pathetic.
“This is really a National tragedy,” he said.
Mzuni students have been writing their examinations for the past two weeks and are expected to finish today.
Meanwhile the cause of the fire is yet to be established.
