President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika will preside over the National Youth Conference on Friday, January 22, 2016 at the Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe.
This has been disclosed in a press statement released on Wednesday from the Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC) signed by Presidential Press Officer Gerald Viola.
According to the statement, Mutharika will arrive at the venue at 10:00am.
On Monday, Mutharika officially presided over the launch of the 2015/ 16 National Forestry Season held at Masasa CCAP Primary School Ground in the area of Traditional Authority Masasa in Ntcheu district.
In his speech, Mutharika urged Malawians to take the exercise seriously considering the weather changes that the country is experiencing at the moment.
