MUTHARIKA’s ‘NDILIBE PROBLEM’ REMARK ANGERS PAC

President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika’s ‘ndilibe problem’ remark uttered over the weekend during the official opening of upgraded Chipembere High Way continue to attract mixed reactions with others, saying the statements was misplaced.

Mutharika who looked unconcerned about the challenges rocking the country publicly told the gathering in Blantyre that ‘Ine ndilibe problem’.

The statement shocked many Malawians considering the challenges the country is going through at the moment with the kwacha losing its value day in day out against major foreign currencies.

Others even questioned Mutharika’s line of thinking.

Commenting on Mutharika statement, Public Affairs Committee (PAC) Chairperson Father Peter Mulomole said the statement clearly shows that the President is not in touch with the challenges Malawians are currently facing.

Mulomole said instead of the President providing solutions to the challenges is busy cheating Malawians that he has no problem while the country is heading to the trench.

Mutharika’s statement follows the country’s Vice President Saulos Chilima statement calling Malawians idiots.
