CHRIS SUYA SPEAKS OUT ON GRACE CHINGA’s DEATH: ‘DON’T HARM THE BEREAVED FAMILY’

Malawi Assemblies of God Pastor, Chris Suya has come out of his cocoon to trash the rumours circulating on the social media regarding the death of Grace Chinga, saying the claims has the power to cause grievous harm to the bereaved family.

The remarks follow comments from the general public and other Men of God in the country suspecting foul play on the matter with others attributing the death to Prophet Bushiri of Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) church.Grace body

Suya, a husband to Thocco, another popular gospel artist in the country said it is not good to publicly make comments about the dead.

“Whatever we want to say about our late sister, we must remember that though she was a celebrity but she had a family. We must take care of our words and actions lest we cause continuous pain to her children and mother because we must know that whether now or later these members of the bereaved family will read whatever comments we made. How are they going to feel? Are we contributing to their pain or their healing ? I feel it is wrong as children of God to behave in this manner. Who questions the wisdom of God?

“I should be honest with you brethren that in the few years that I have served the Lord, I have accumulated so many questions that I want the Lord to answer me because there are many times He has done things that I thought He should not have done. But then I realise that I can never be more wiser than my maker. There are many questions that even philosophy has until now not provided tangible answers. So WE shall understand later, one of which is the death of Grace Chinga,” wrote Suya on his official Facebook page.Grace daughter

Suya has advised the general public to desist from making comments that will stir up debate on the matter.

“The beloved Pastor who said what he said is a free intellectual and as such he is entitled to the right of opinion and he has done nothing wrong in voicing out his opinion. Though I may not agree with what he said but I agree 100% with his right to saying it.

“Finally brethren let’s remember to pray for the heart broken Mother of Grace Chinga and the heart bleeding children of Grace Chinga. May the Lord bless you for respecting my position in this matter,” Suya.

Chinga was laid to rest on Saturday at Henry Henderson Institute (HHI) cemetery in the commercial capital Blantyre and her funeral was attended by a huge crowd.
