Mutharika leaves the country today for Addis ababa-Ethiopia

President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika will today Friday the 8th of July, 2016 depart the country to visit Addis Ababa in the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia for his conferment with a Doctor of Letters,honariscausa(D.Litt.) by the Addis Ababa University.

This has been disclosed in a Press Statement from the Office Of the President and Cabinet (OPC) made available to FaceofMalawi.

“The University of Addis Ababa is honoring Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika who has had an illustrious career as a Professor of Comparative Constitutional Law at several high profile universities in the world for his outstanding contribution to the academia in Ethiopia in particular, Africa in general and the world at large,” reads the statement in part.

According to the statement, Mutharika will leave the country anytime from now.
