Ndirande car accident updates: Police reveals identity of the deceased

Police in Blantyre have revealed the identity of the two people killed this morning after being hit by truck belonging to Chibuku Products Limited (CPL).

The two have been identified as 41 year-old Bessie Juwakili and 3 year-old Chintheya Juwakili from Tombondela village, Traditional Authority Chapananga in Chikwawa district.

The accident happened at Goliyo, Ndirande in Blantyre.

The driver failed to control the vehicle, registration number BQ 1027–due to sudden brake failure and hit the deceased in the process.

Meanwhile the driver of the vehicle has handed himself to Police.
