Primary School students protesting in Lilongwe against teachers strike (see photos)

Information reaching faceofMalawi indicates that Primary School students in the capital Lilongwe are protesting against teachers strike over unresolved grievances with government.

The development comes barely days after Teachers started a national wide sit-in to press government to settle their arrears amounting to MK103 million and to promote some teachers country wide.

According to information sourced by this publication, the students are invading every school were some teachers are teaching to disrupt the classes.

The students are angry because they are not learning while their fellows are learning.
