Tuition fees hiked at Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources

Information sourced by FaceofMalawi indicates that Council of the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) has hiked Tuition Fees for all the undergraduate diploma and degree programmes offered by the university.

The development comes barely months after the university Council also increased tuition fees for all constituent colleges of the University of Malawi (UNIMA) by 400 percent which led to violent protest by students from Chancellor College, Polytechnic, Kamuzu College of Nursing and College of Medicine.

According to the student from LUANAR released on Monday made available to FaceofMalawi, the new fee is with effect from the 2016/2017 Academic year.
