Woman resurrects in Kasungu


A 39 year old woman in Kasungu who died after being struck by lightning last year with her newly born baby has resurrected.

Kasungu Deputy Police Spokesperson Yohani Namata has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press and identified the woman as Nachuma Banda.

Namata said the Police rushed to the village after hearing the news to check the graveyard where the woman was buried and it was still intact.

Speaking in an interview with the press, Group Village Headman Chaima said the woman arrived at her home three days ago and she started calling her Children.

The woman told her relatives that since last year she was being kept in a house of a certain man in the village.

The woman further said that the owner of the house gave her lots of work to do.

Meanwhile people are flocking to the village to see the woman.
