Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB) has withheld Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examination results of 269 schools across the country.

This has been established following investigation launched by FaceofMalawi reporter after finding out that some schools were missing on the list.

Among the notables schools missing on the list includes; HHI Secondary School, Ndirande Hill Secondary School, Soche Secondary School, Our Future Private Secondary School in Rumphi, Target Private School, Our Time Private School in Mzuzu and others.

Speaking in interview with the press, MANEB Public Relations Officer Simeon Maganga said the body has withheld results of 269 schools due unsettled balances.

“I am happy to tell you that many schools are getting results after clearing the balances. Parents should not be worried as the results are with us, we have just withheld the examination results,” said Maganda.

MANEB in conjunction with the Ministry of Education Science and Technology (MoEST) released MSCE results last week Friday.
