The High court in Mzuzu has granted bail Councilor Charles Mlogera who was arrested in October for defiling three girls.
Mlogera is Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Councillor for Chibanja Ward in Mzuzu City.
On Fraday, Justice Dingiswayo Madise has granted Mlogera bail but he should give k200,00, and his two witnesses who will also give k500,000 each.
This has happened after his lawyer, Mustafa Amidu managed to convince Justice Madise, after being denied for 4 times.
Magistrate Major Mbewe handles this case but he did not disclose when it will be heard in court.
Mlogera is accused of making three girls drunk and defiling each one of them. Two girls aged 16 and one aged 15.
