Mutharika to attend MBC Innovations Awards today

President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika will this evening grace the 2016 Malawi Broadcasting Corporation – MBC Innovations Awards ceremony.

The ceremony will be held at Kamuzu Palace in the capital Lilongwe starting from 18:00 hours.

This has been confirmed in a statement released on Thursday made available to FaceofMalawi signed by Presidential Press Officer Mgeme Kalilani.

According to the organizing committee, dress code is strictly locally made clothes.

MBC’s Innovations Awards is an annual event that is there to recognize people who have achieved great things in life.

The award consists of 10 categories: Arts, Education, Environment, Large Scale & Small Scale Entrepreneurship, Medicine, Science and Technology, Disability & Agriculture.
