Unknown thugs have killed an old woman in Salima and robbed her money amounting to Mk113, 000 she obtained from a village bank.
Police in Salima have confirmed of the development in an interview with the press and identified the deceased as Gogo Chihana.
According to information sourced by FaceofMalawi reporter, the unknown thugs stormed the house of Gogo Chihana killed her and went away with the said cash.
Robert Mkwezalamba, chairperson of National Advocacy Platform has asked the police to hunt down the suspects.
Gogo Chihana hailed from Saidi village in chief Ndindi’s area in Salima.
