A 38 year-old Police officer has died after being involved in road accident at Kanjeza near Masm Clinic in Blantyre on Wednesday.
The deceased, identified as Tobias Gama from Phalira village, Traditional Authority (T/A) Nthache in Mwanza, was pronounced dead upon arrival at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital due to head injuries.
Gama, who was riding unregistered Yamaha motorcycle collided with a Nissan Note saloon registration number NU 7920 driven by 36 year-old Elizabeth Kachala.
Kachala was driving from the direction of Kanjedza round about. On arrival at Masm Clinic junction, she turned right and in the process, collided with the motor cyclist was coming from the opposite direction.
