Blantyre Mayoral Polls on, who to fall today?

The reports showing that election atmosphere at The Blantyre Civic Centre have decorated with tight Security with a heavy presence of police.

According to reports, only invited guests, including the media, are allowed entry in the Civic Centre Premises. All parties’ supporters are denied entry.

The Blantyre City Mayor’s elections are hard to decide who to win current Mayor, Noel Chalamanda facing opposition from his deputy Wild Ndipo and three other councillors.

So far Chalamanda is facing challenge from Councillors Alinane George Chipwete, Louis Ngalande who is the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and Charles Chipwete
