Students, police fight in Liwonde over missing female student

The Students of Mawira private school in Liwonde have destroyed house fence of Mr Victor Mtuwa who allegedly accused of kidnapped one fellow female student.

According to reports, a student went missing for three days until she is able to send a text message to a friend claiming that she is locked in the basement with other three victims in the house of suspect.

The students flew into the rage as they rushed to the house in research of their friend until they managed to destroy the house fence.

However, the police intervened before they broke into the house, they dispatched after teargas was fired.

The police are accusing the students that they are acting based on hearsay, there is no tangible evidence.

Meanwhile, the road is closed at Liwonde Puma filling station due to commotion.
