Muluzi attends son’s wedding in Scotland

Former President Dr. Bakili Muluzi and the country’s former First Lady Patricia Shanil on Saturday met for the second time in a space of five months to attend the weeding of their son, Zake Muluzi who tied knot with a Scottish bride Lindsay at Drummossie Hotel, Inverness in Scotland.

The two also met in December last year during the funeral ceremony of their daughter, Esmie who was struck by lightning in Mpemba in the commercial capital Blantyre.

The wedding was also attended by Muluzi’s elder son Atupele who is also Minister of Lands and Housing under President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika.
Hundreds of invited guests attended the magnificent wedding ceremony.

‘Zake, award winning weight lifter, is a third born child of Bakili Muluzi and Patricia Shanil Dzimbiri and holds Honors bachelor’s degree in retail and marketing and Masters Degree in International business from Sterling University.

Before university, Zake attended Edinburg Acadamey from where he got his A Level.

His wife is a secondary school teacher.

Zake is currently working as Manager at Enterprise Rent -A-Car.
