Meet three women married to one man, they even share the same bed

Face of Malawi came across an interesting story about three women who chose to get married to one man, somewhere in South Africa.

Ask some women if they’d like to share their husbands with their friends, you’d most likely get an emphatic NO, but one man is actually married to not one, but three women.

According to reports, the man identified as Doctor Mokoena, married three women who now behave like sisters from Tsakane, Ekurhuleni, in South Africa.

We are like sisters and we help each other out - say 3 South African women married to 1 man
These three women are married to one man and they claim they are united and happy

The three women identified as Nene Ngwenya, Nnana Mokoena, and Makhosi Ntuli, all live in the same house with their six children and their husband.

The women are said to cook, eat together and even sleep on the same bed.

Speaking to Daily Sun, the first wife, Nene Ngwenya, said their neighbours initially couldn’t understand why they chose to marry the same man. She said: “but because we remain united and happy, they don’t have a problem with it any more.We are like sisters and we help each other out. Our unity is even envied by those who see us for the first time.”

Makhosi who is the third wife said she was happy with the way they were being treated by their husband.

Mokoena spoke about how he relates with his wives below:

“Treat your wives equally and don’t take sides. Always listen to their complaints and be neutral and fair at all times. I’m not rich but I know how to make my wives happy. We share the little we have and try to instil the same values in our children. I respect them and I listen to them when they are not happy with my decisions.”
