Chipiku shops workers down tools in Blantyre

Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that Chipiku shops employees in the Southern Region have today started a strike aimed at forcing the management to realign some of the top bosses.

An eyewitness who rushed to Chipiku shop at Ginnery corner in the commercial capital Blantyre confirmed of the strike.

According to an eyewitness, the workers are not happy with the decision taken by some top bosses like firing of employees without any reason.

Effort to talk to Chipiku shop officials in Blantyre proved futile.
