Man Killed After Being Found With Another Man`s Wife in Lilongwe

Kanengo police spokesperson, Salome Zyambo has confirmed the death of a man identified as Sandulani Kandulu who died after being beaten by a husband of a woman he had a secret sexual affair with.

The deceased had on that fateful day gone to the woman`s house while her husband was away.

But upon tipped that his wife was with another man at his house, he secretly got to his house and found the two, according to Zyambo.

“He then tied the deceased with a rope and started beating him as well as dipping his face in dirty water from the bathroom that he forced him to drink,” said Zyambo.

People came to the scene to rescue the man after he screamed for help but the suspect used a Panga Knife to scare away well-wishers that had come to rescue the victim.

After the suspect had dealt with him, he fled from the scene and later the victim was rushed to Kamuzu Central Hospital (KCH) where he was later pronounced dead.

Post-Morten revealed that he died due to loss of blood and oxygen.

Meanwhile, the suspect is still at large and police have since launched a search that would later help to identify his particulars.

Kandulu hailed from Mphanduya village, Traditional Authority Kabudula in Lilongwe.
