Portland Transgender Man Welcomes Baby Boy With his Partner (See Photos)

A Portland based Trans gender man has given birth to a baby boy after being together with his partner for seven years.

The father identified as Trystan Reese aged 34 welcomed their baby Leo Murray Chaplow on July 14 together with his partner Biff Chaplow.

The couple had previously experienced a miscarriage just last year and now that their wish has come into being, they have every reason to celebrate about it.

“We are so lucky to have been able to welcome him into our lives and cannot wait to see who he grows up to be, “they told CNN during an interview.

Mr. Reese continued saying it has not been easy for him to finally give birth such that he had to stop taking testosterone to prepare for the pregnancy.

“We have been under medical supervision the entire time to make it as healthy and safe as possible,” said Mr. Reese.

The couple has documented their parenting adventures and posted updates throughout Reese`s pregnancy on their Facebook page.

The video announcing their pregnancy was made in January this year.

Transgender man is a man born with a uterus just like a female and has the capability of carrying a baby.
