Exposed: DPP wanted to use Mrs Kachama’s MCP regalia photo to fire IG

Yesterday the social media was a washed with a photo showing wife of Inspector General of Police Lexten Kachama putting on Malawi Congress Party (MCP) regalia.

The photo attracted debate among Malawians considering the fact that police officers including their spouses are not supposed to align themselves any political party.

Others went further by saying that picture has thrown the job of the IG in a mess.

But it has been discovered that the picture was doctored by the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) official who are not comfortable with the IG.
It is said that the original photo belongs to politician Halima Daudi.

According to inside sources, some DPP officials want the IG fired hence the move.

Meanwhile DPP officials are yet to comment on the matter.
