National Registration Bureau drivers on strike over unpaid salaries

National Registration Bureau (NRB) drivers have embarked on a sit-in to force demanding salaries for the month of July and August.

According to information at hand, the drivers parked all vehicles at NRB offices in Limbe Township in the commercial capital Blantyre.

The development left some registration officers awaiting redeployment stranded.

NRB Public Relations Officer Norman Fulatira confirmed of development in an interview with faceofmalawi reporter.

Fulatira said the disparity will be resolved as soon as possible.
