ZBS employees threatens to go on strike in September over salary discrepancies

Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS) employees have threatened to go on strike starting from September 4 over salaries discrepancies, faceofmalawi can reveal.

According to inside sources, the employees are not happy with Zodiak management for failing to raise their salaries for the past two years despite several meetings between management and employees representative.

The employees are also not happy with management for not remitting pension funds to NICO life insurance despite huge deductions made to their monthly salaries.

The workers are also not amused that some employees receive more benefits than others despite having equal grades and positions.

The employees have since given management a one month ultimatum to resolve their grievances.
