First Lady Rocks a School Uniform as she Advocates for Girl Child Education (See Photos)

Some rounds of applauds have gone to Malawi’s first lady, Gertrude muntharika during her participation in a fashion show at Kamuzu Palace, as a way of encouraging and inspiring girls to work hard at school and aim high in life.

She encouraged women to inspire each other and work together towards “women empowerment” with emphasis on girl education.

The event took place on Saturday at Kamuzu Palace which was organised by the Beautify Malawi Trust (BEAM) in support of girl child education.

In the pictures which have already gone viral on Malawi’s social media, the first lady can be spotted wearing a blue Jim dress, white blouse as well as a well polished black shoe.
