Limbe Police Confiscates Vaseline Mixed With Chamba, Two Suspects in Cooler (See Photo)

Limbe police is keeping in custody two people for selling Vaseline mixed with chamba.

Limbe Police Station Deputy Public Relations Officer Widson Nhlane identified the suspects as a 20-year-old Samuel Chokomba and a 19-year-old woman, Eliza Sisamala who were apprehended on Friday following a tip that the police received.

“The drug section at Limbe Police Station received valid information from well-wishers that the two had put chamba into vaseline which they sell in Limbe township and investigations were launched which yielded positive results after arresting them plus seizure of the 18 bottles of lotion containing the stuff,” said Nhlane.

Nhlane further explained the confiscated items will be referred to Bvumbwe research station for examination.

The suspects will answer the charges of being found in possession of Chamba.
