Man Cuts his Neck with Panga Knife After Thief Stole his Kabaza Bicycle (See Photo)

An elderly man is in hospital after he tried to cut his neck off because a thief had stolen his bicycle.

The incident happened yesterday in Mangochi district.

A tiny report that this publication has gathered indicate that the yet to be identified man does a bicycle taxi business (Kabaza) in Mangochi. Yesterday, September 14, he came across a thief who then stole his bicycle and he did not manage to retrieve it.

Being the only thing that brings him money, he started cutting himself on the neck with a sharp Panga knife with the aim to end his life.

He was rescued by nearby people who took him to the hospital where he is currently on treatment.

It is indicated that he sustained severe injuries on the neck to the extent that he is even failing to consume water.
