Bloodsucking victim collapses before President in Phalombe

Commotion erupted in Phalombe on Monday following the collapse of a suspected bloodsucking victim as he was trying to explain his fate to President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika.

President Mutharika yesterday visited communities affected by fears of blood sucking allegations at Phalombe Secondary School ground.

As per tradition, Mutharika gave chance to victims to recounts their fate. In Phalombe Mutharika gave the first chance to a woman.

Later he gave a chance to a man who collapsed while in the process of explaining. The incident attracted tension among communities.

The Inspector General of Police Lexten Kachama was spotted at the scene helping the victim.
