Albert Mungomo joins Times Group after being fired at MBC

Former Director of Programmes at Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) Albert Mungomo has finally joined Times Group Limited, faceofmalawi can reveal.

Mungomo, popularly known as Mr. Blantyre was fired at state owned radio in November last year after being found guilty theft and forgery.

Former MBC boss is said to have pocketed an allowance of MK 235,000.00 and cash for fuel for a meeting which never existed in Lilongwe.

Due to this, MBC Board made their unanimous decision to fire Mungomo at their meeting held in Mangochi after a disciplinary committee of the same Board found him guilty on all charges.

But it has been established that Mungomo has been offered new hope at Times Group.
