Murder Suspect Arrested for Killing a Friend Over Sex Worker

18-year-old man has been arrested for killing his friend over a sex worker in Chikwawa.

Police have identified the murder suspect as Malora Fulingi who hails from Ching`oma village in the area of Senior Chief Ngabu in Chikwawa.
According to Chikwawa police public relations officer Constable Foster Benjamin, the suspect and the victim were on Thursday 25th January drinking together at a bar in Kafule village.
In the process, the 20-year-old victim identified as Wilfred Billiat, hooked a sex worker whom also the suspect had feasted his eyes on.
Following that, a fight broke up which in the process the suspect picked a stone and hit the victim on the head.
He was rushed to Chikwawa District Hospital where he was receiving treatment but he died on Saturday.
Police investigation led to the arrest of the suspect who is currently in custody waiting to answer the charges of murder.
