Two trucks of MDF soldiers deployed to Capital Hill

As protestors in the capital Lilongwe have now been allowed to proceed to Capital Hill after a deadlock at Civic Centre opposite Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC), two trucks of Malawi Defence Force (MDF) soldiers have been deployed at State House.


Faceofmalawi reporter spotted the trucks entering Capital Hill few minutes ago attracting mixed reactions among Malawians.

The police blocked the path to Capital Hill at Civic Centre opposite Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC) after receiving instructions from DPP top blast.

Speaking to the crowd Timothy Mtambo said: “We are not afraid, we are marching to Capital Hill. Who ever sent you is making a huge mistake.”
