Voting underway in Milonde, Malindi wards

Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that voting is going on smoothly in two wards namely Milonde in Mulanje and Malindi in Mangochi North East Constituency where Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) is holding by-elections.

Five people are contesting in Milonde Ward, these are; Mike Skennar (DPP),
Donatta Nyanga (MCP), and three independent namely: Mabvuto Michael, Leo Roy Pang’ono and Sydreck Somanje.

According to Linda Kunja, MEC Commissioner, about 6876 people are expected to cast their votes at Chimwaza Polling Centre.

There are five polling centres within Milonde Ward, these are Misyoni, Milonde, Mpala, Chimwaza Schools.
