Police in Mwanza district have arrested a 25-year-old woman for indulging herself in sexual intercourse with a 7-year-old boy.
The suspect has been identified as Agnes James who has already made her first appearance in court on 18th June 2018 pleading not guilty to the charge of Engaging in sexual activity with a child contrary to section 160(B)(1) of the Penal Code.
According to the boy, Agnes used to invite him to her bedroom where she was forcing the boy to be inserting his penis into her vagina.
This happened for several times but Agnes used to instruct the boy not to inform anyone.
On the 9th June 2018, the boy decided to narrate to her mother what Agnes was doing to him.
Upon hearing the whole story, the mother rushed to report to Mwanza police hence the arrest of Agnes.
She is also expected to appear in court again soon for court proceedings.
She hails from Mchotseni village in the area of traditional authority Kanduku in Mwanza.
