Mzimba MP Olipa Myaba joins Chilima Movement

Independent Member of Parliament for Mzimba North East Olipa Myaba has joined Chilima Transformation Movement.

The development comes barely days after the State Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima openly declared that he will contest as President in the forthcoming 2019 polls.

According to Myaba, the decision to join the movement follows the consultation she had with people in her constituency.

“Yes I can confirm I am a member of Chilima movement,” she said.

Movement’s northern region governor Afiki Mbewe said Myaba’s move demonstrate that the movement is gaining popular each passing day.

Meanwhile it is not known as whether Chilima will stand on a political party ticket or as an Independent President in 2019 polls.
