MCP Deputy Campaign Director Loveness Gondwe joins Chilima Movement

Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Deputy Campaign Director Loveness Gondwe has dumped the party and joined the United Transformation Movement, a grouping advocating for the candidature of the State Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima in the forthcoming polls in 2019.

Gondwe announced this today at Messas Lodge opposite Waka Waka in the capital Lilongwe where the Chilima Movement led by Member of Parliament for Mulanje Patricia Kaliati held a meeting.

The grouping also welcomed over 300 members from various political parties in the country including the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and opposition People’s Party (PP).
