Man arrested for trafficking six Children in Nkhata-Bay

Police in Nkhata-Bay have arrested a businessman for trafficking six children to Mzimba without their parent’s knowledge.

Nkhata-Bay Police Publicist Kondwani James confirmed of the arrest in an interview with the press and identified the suspect as Holasho Kamwaza from Cheza village in Ntcheu district.

According to James, the suspect was arrested when one of the victim’s mother reported that her son was missing.

The suspect is believed to have coerced one of the victims to identify other boys to go with him to Mbalachanda in Mzimba.
