Police officer arrested for defiling a teenage house maid

The police in the capital Lilongwe are keeping in custody a fellow officer for allegedly defiling teenage house maid after tearing her pant and dress.

The police officer has been identified as Constable Stain Master from Kanengo Police Station.

Brief facts are that the girl has been staying with the suspect for four months and was working as a house girl.

All these months there was no problem but on 20/08/18 at about 0900 hours when the girl was washing clothes the suspect went where the girl was and told her that he would sleep with her that coming night and the girl denied.

“The suspect did not answer anything and he left the place. Came evening ,the girl prepared supper and after they all ate ,she went to her bedroom to sleep leaving the suspect and his wife on the sitting room but the wife did not take long but went to their bedroom to sleep leaving the husband on the sitting room.

“He then raised the volume of a screen and went to the girl’s bedroom where he struggled with the girl ,tore her pant and dress,then defiled her,” reads in part the police report.

Added the report: “She screamed for help but could not be heard as the wife of the suspect could not hear as she has hearing problems.”

After being defiled, the suspect went to his bedroom. The girl then went to inform the wife of the suspect about the issue then in the morning she reported to her relations who reported to police. The girl was then taken to hospital where she got examined.

The suspect will appear in court soon.
