Lloyd it’s hard to believe that u r gone… where is the launch? Where is the political dream? Is this the change u told me u wanted to bring out? DEATH WHERE IS UR STING? ?…. Shocked.”

Former Times Group Editor Clifton Kawanga wrote: “Back in 1999, I stepped in an unfamiliar territory. It was Mzuzu Technical College. There was a social weekend the following week, I registered to perform. A boy from Lilongwe Lloyd Mainuka asked me if we could perform together. We did. After Mzuzu Tech, he continued performing and recorded some albums. Now Loy is gone. I celebrate our friendship. Rest in Peace Man.”
