ANNAN TO BE RAID TO REST TOMORROW

Former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan will be buried tomorrow.

His body landed at Kotoka International Airport in Ghana’s Capital, Accra, receiving a here’s welcome. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo joined Annan’s widow and family members on Monady as sodiers brought Annan’s coffin down from the aircraft amid solemn music played by deatchment of Ghana’s armed forces.

To signify Annan’s return home, the UN flag that covered the coffin was replaced by the Ghanaian. People will pay their respects before tomorrows’s state funeral at Accra International Airport.

Annan died in August in Switzerland at age 80. Ghanaian soldiers, accompanied by Clergymen, carried the coffin of former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan.
